I can’t wait for Summer!

It’s all good here from my point of view.  Yesterday a gaggle of geese heading north took a break on the river and created some a racket.  However it was nice to witness all the same.

Fish Shack

What I enjoy about living on the Ottawa river is observing the ever changing landscape. Today, the Ottawa river is open and flowing. Changing View

We’ve been living next to the Ottawa river for 30 years. the natural tapestry is ever changing. On the threshold of spring, excitement begins to percolate in me as this ice melts on the river and the birds return there is nothing more miraculous.

A Slice of Heaven

River’s Morning Battle The fog creeps with confidence over the river slowly swallowing the horizon, trees and rivera lone crow laughs  The cedars, tall, motionless, wait a disappearing world The sun penetrates equally confident, the fog surrenders the trees wave their branches slightly biding the fog adeu. nature’s dance is just beginning
